POTUS Shows Facebook CEO How to Work a Crowd
By http://profile.typepad.com/1237764140s22740 // April 21, 2011 in FacebookI only caught about 20 minutes of the webcast of President Obama's town hall meeting at Facebook yesterday. But I took a few screenshots as I thought the visual iconography was interesting.
Mark Zuckerberg, who moderated, walked on stage first.
Then the President entered.
Instead of vectoring straight into the vacant space of the open floor, Pres. Obama flew up a wing, working the crowd.
I know the President has virtually no experience in business, but his ease, demeanor and command of the agenda - perhaps in contrast with Mark Zuckerberg's, and at least for the 20 minutes I watched - was very CEO-like. That man may have a future in the Valley!
