London Tweets and Flickr Pics Plotted by Eric Fischer

Check out this image by Eric Fischer, which plots locations of tweets and pictures posted to Flickr from London. Tweets are blue, pictures orange. White marks "locations that have been posted to both."

It's part of dozens in a series called "See something or say something" that Fischer has posted to Flickr. Other images map Singapore, Sao Paulo, San Francisco, Chicago, Istanbul, Copenhagen, Hong Kong, Sydney, Dublin and New York City.

Compare the London above with an earlier London Fischer posted, one from a different series mapping pictures by locals (blue), pictures by tourists (red), and pictures which could be either (yellow).

How does he determine what photos to categorize as by locals? Fischer explains that they've been posted by "people who have taken pictures in this city dated over a range of a month or more."
