Blocking and Tackling

I've been blogging and talking so much lately about private capital formation reform legislation, it took me a bit aback that the subject was on nobody's mind at Peter Fosso's startup law event last night at Joe Wallin's office.

Not a single question about crowdfunding, general solicitation, or broker-dealer regulation exemptions.

Instead, we had 90 + minutes of Q&A on choice of entity, IP assignments, reverse vesting, patent and trademark basics, and tax and accounting tips. All good stuff, all more important, or more fundamental, to the startup just starting up, than financing!
