Views from Facebook Seattle
By http://profile.typepad.com/1237764140s22740 // April 19, 2012 in Facebook, Seattle1730 Minor has long been a fixture along the I-5 seam between Seattle's Capitol Hill and Cascade neighborhoods.
I've walked past it for years. But I didn't imagine the views it would afford, pulling patches of Seattle together, until up inside it, looking out.
These pics are from the open house Facebook held last night at its new space on the 18th floor of 1730 Minor.
This is definitely a great location from which to be employed.
I met a new Facebook employee who lives three blocks across the highway. He quit a job that had forced him to commute to Bellevue. Sweet move.
Imagine working in that location. You could walk to work. You could reach Melrose Market for lunch. Someone could text you from Knee High Stocking Co. and you could be there in 5 minutes.
