Backyard tweetup

There's a tweetup in the backyard apple tree this morning. Robins, blue jays, hummingbirds, finches, chickadees.

They all flew off when a neighbor's car pulled into a driveway left of frame. But they're reassembling now.

The most perfect line in all of English poetry is Shakespeare's "Bare ruin'd choirs where late the sweet birds sang." But this bare ruined choir is lousy with chatter!
